Alsia Cross veg boxes contain all our own organically certified produce. They are available for 9–10 months of the year (roughly June to March) to customers in West Penwith, Cornwall.
Customers can pick up their boxes from Alsia. We also offer a delivery service in the St Buryan, Sennen, Penzance, Newlyn, Longrock and St Just areas.
Everything in our veg boxes comes direct from our own fields and polytunnels and is fresh, local and organic. What you get in your box depends on the time of year and what is available.
Sometimes we may include herbs such as parsley and basil, or offer these as optional extras. And at certain times of the year we may include fruit, like rhubarb in late spring/early summer and grapes in late summer.
In 2014, we were able to offer, for the first time, apples as an optional extra in autumnn and winter veg boxes. As we plant more fruit trees in our orchards, we'll be expanding this supply of apples in the future.

We try to provide a few staples every week: potatoes, onions, carrots and a bag of mixed salad leaves (such as rocket, orientals, watercress, radicchio and lettuce). Additional staples are tomatoes (in the summer) and leeks (in the winter). Other veg in the boxes is a seasonal selection from the following list:
purple sprouting broccoli;
green and red cabbage;
French and runner beans;
sugar snap and podding peas;
pumpkins and squashes;
Current prices for our veg boxes are:
